The Witches Calendar Week 9 Day 7
. Leaf-moulded offering bowls
These delicate, nature-inspired bowls capture the imprint of a leaf, making them perfect vessels for offerings, herbs, or sacred objects on your altar. The process is .
simple yet deeply intentional, allowing you to work with both earth and spirit.
How to make it:
Roll out the clay: Use air-dry clay or polymer clay and roll it to about ¼ inch thickness.
Press a leaf – Place a real leaf (vein-side down) onto the clay and gently press to imprint its details.
Cut it out: Use a knife or clay tool to carefully trim around the leaf’s shape.
Shape the bowl: Place the clay leaf into a small bowl or dish to create a curved form.
Dry: If using air-dry clay, leave it for 24-48 hours; if using polymer clay, bake according to the instructions.
Peel & Paint – Once hardened, carefully remove the bowl, peel off the leaf, and paint it with metallics, earthy tones, or soft washes of colour.
These organic, nature-moulded bowls make beautiful vessels for offerings, holding dried herbs, crystals, or water on your altar as a sacred gift to Spirit.
